Management

Kenneth S. Rosenzweig: Chief Executive Officer Mr. Rosenzweig oversees daily company operations providing the vision and leadership direction. He has over 35 years’ experience in business strategy, planning, and transactions, including capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and licensing arrangements. He has held executive-level positions at Atlas Chemical, ICI and Zeneca, including worldwide head of new business development for the $3 billion division of Zeneca known as Specialty Chemicals.

Ken received his BS in chemical engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He furthered his studies in chemistry and management at the University of Delaware

Anthony Caragliano: Tony is the CFO. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant who trained at KPMG Peat Marwick. He has operated as CFO of many early stage businesses as well as several mature companies including a multi-national merchant bank with a portfolio of $2b in assets .

Tony earned a BBA from Iona College in New York.

Zinovy Shnaper: Co-founder of Intelligent Payload Solutions, Zinovy has core skills in electronic design and supply chain management and a Masters in Electrical Engineering

Roger Siebel: Roger is the General Counsel. He has over 25 years’ experience in founding and building companies. He has held the positions of President, COO, General Counsel and Board Member. Prior to his entrepreneurial work, he was an attorney, manager and development engineer for AT&T.

Roger has a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, a Master of Business Administration, from New York University Stern School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude, from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.”

Joe Straub: Joe Straub: Joe has a strong track record in product & business development, partnering with government agencies such as DHS and DoE. He has a BS in Physics from Cornell.

Alun Thomas: Alun is VP Europe and has over 30 years’ experience in industry. He has held positions as CEO of Divisions of large listed Companies, including Johnson Matthey and BAA plc. He has also played leadership roles in early stage businesses and operated as a strategy consultant to blue chip organizations at McKinsey & Co.

Alun has a BSc in Engineering with First Class Honors from Imperial College London and an MBA from Loughborough University. He is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and a Fellow of the Royal Society of the Arts.

Key Advisors

Nile F. Hartman: Nile has more than 25 years experience in integrated optics and management of research and development programs. He is the inventor of the planar waveguide interferometric sensor configuration. Mr. Hartman was a faculty member of the Georgia Institute of Technology where he served as a Division Chief, directing the Electro-Optics and Chemical Sciences Division. He is the author or coauthor of 14 patents and more than 50 publications.

Jack Pastor: Jack is a proven entrepreneur in the sensors space. Experienced in product development and domestic and international distribution.

Charles Shelton: Charles is a scientific/technical expert with wide-ranging programme management and experimental experience and knowledge over the last 30 years of environmental risk assessment, analytical science and sensor assessment and use, materials science and associated technical consultancy, principally as a consultant within Shell.

Charles has a first degree in Natural Sciences and a Ph.D. in materials science from Cambridge University, U.K.

Nancy Weiss: Nancy is a Member of the faculty of the Department of Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Delaware and Director of the National Leadership Consortium on Develop

Commercial Partners

Cognivault leverages its status on a number of wide ranging Federal contracts to market the Armor technology into the Federal space under the BACIS™ (Biologic and Chemicals Interferometric Sensor) name. The Cognivault management team, Mila and Scott Halpine, are also key, founding members of the Armor management team

Lumilant is a spin-out of the photonics laboratory at the University of Delaware. It has significant resources applied to opto-electronics. Armor has access to their photonics expertise, their fabrication capabilities, including UV photolithograph, and their previous work helping to generate the latest data models and design for the Armor sensor.

TraceX is a sister Company to Armor focused on engineering comprehensive solutions that integrate Armor sensors, off the shelf sensors and software. TraceX’s products under development include a patent pending bracelet for detecting transdermal alcohol aimed at the Criminal Justice market and a healthcare bracelet for professional caregivers to the elderly and vulnerable.

Research Partners

Armor is teaming with, or in discussions about teaming with, leading research institutions including Johns Hopkins University, University of California San Francisco and Rutgers University. In each case the anticipated research is designed to explore potential use cases for the Armor Sensor in healthcare and homeland security applications.
